Museum Applications... PDF Print E-mail

Adtec has products are used in a wide range of museum applications to enhance attractions and exhibits.  Our most popular products used in museums are our digital media players.  The signEdje, edje-4111, and Soloist-HD Pro, are used in applications where reliability, flexibility, and a high degree of advanced functionality is required.  The advanced functionality found in these products allows them to be integrated with external control systems like those available from AMX or Crestron.

When systems integrators tackle projects involving interactivity, they often turn to the edje family of media players.  Our products are controllable with external devices like touch screens, triggers, or buttons through the built-in Ethernet, parallel, or serial interface.  What’s more, external devices such as switchers, modulators, and monitors can also be controlled via the built-in Ethernet, parallel, or serial interface.

When designing the layout for a display at a museum there is usually limited space to work with. Adtec units can be placed in direct proximity to the monitors and other equipment.  Adtec’s devices are cost effective, have low power requirements, and can be mounted on the back of the monitors to save space.
