Adtec has a variety of products that are used in theme parks all over the world.  In fact, every major theme park in the world is using Adtec products to provide the streaming or playing of video content in a variety of attractions. 

Theme park guests frequently want to “ride” the newest or wildest rollercoaster.  Such attractions are often theme oriented.  Our products are used in such instances to play video content for people standing in a “queue” line waiting to get on the “ride”.  The playing video content is usually done to set the stage for the attraction a person is about to experience.  The playing of video content also helps people to become engaged in a particular attraction thereby reducing the perceived wait time for getting onto the attraction.  In such instances, our signEdje products are often used in a synchronous playback mode.  That is where numerous media players are synchronized together for use in a videowall application.    

Our media players are also used in projects involving a high degree of interactivity.  Due to the operational flexibility of our products, they can be controlled by external devices like touch screens, triggers, or push buttons.  In addition, our media players can control external devices such as lighting systems, sound systems, and switching devices. 

When designing the layout for a project at a theme park, there is usually limited space to work with.  In such cases, our media players can be placed right on the back of the monitors to save space.
